- Open gym for indoor soccer this Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 in the high school gym, weather permitting. Open to all middle school and high school boys and girls.
GUIDANCE NEWS:
- The "Making It Count" assemblies for juniors and seniors have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 10th.
- Seniors: Saturday, February 13 is "Super Saturday" for help with your FAFSA student financial aid applications. There are two locations where you and your parent can get help in filing this form: Prince Edward County HS - from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and at CVCC in Lynchburg, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Pick up an information sheet for both in the Guidance office.
- The following scholarships are now available in the Next Step Room:
- Great Valu Foodstores Scholarship - $1,000 - pick up application at Wilbun's Market. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2010.
- Colonial Agricultural Education Foundation - deadline is March 1.
- VASWCD Educational Foundation - for students interested in natural resource conservation and environmental protection. $1,000 - deadline is Mar3.
- "Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year" (SAMMY 2010 Award Program)- $7,500 scholarship and opportunity to be in a Milk Mustache ad. Apply online at www.bodybymilk.com . Deadline is Mar 5.
