General Infromation
• We have more than 1000 computers all connected to the internet.
• The High School has 7 computer labs and 2 wireless labs.
• The Middle School has 5 computer labs and 1 wireless lab.
• The Elementary School has 3 computer labs and 1 wireless lab.
• The Primary School has 1 computer lab and 1 wireless lab.
• Each classroom has at least 2 computers
• There are over 2500 computer users (staff & students).
• The Divsion has a WAN (Wide Area Network) featuring a wireless 10 GB connection to Palmyra with Compusec.
• Internet access is available in every classroom, lab, library, and office.
• Internet access is filtered using Secure Computings N2H2 Bess content filtering software running in combination with Microsoft ISA Server and a CISCO PIX Firewall.
• A 36 megabyte wireless network connects each school facility.
The School Board has approved an acceptable use policy for all users.
One of our Division Instructional Technologist would love to assist you. We are available to help you implement technology in your classroom. Realizing how frustrating it can be to try something for the first time, we would love to be there and help. Of course, we want you to be able to utilize the technology after our initial help.
